Biography

I earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016 studying ureide accumulation in legumes during abiotic stress. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2010 with a degree following the Plant Development theme. I am a CSGA-recognized plant breeder. I have experience in breeding, maintaining, and commercializing varieties of pulses and specialty crops, including lentils, faba beans, dry bean, peas, hemp, flax and sunflower.
