Biography

As faculty in the Educational Leadership stream, my focus is on students, and how best to support their learning. I take an evidence-based, active approach to teaching, focussing on the development of core skills, such as problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, creativity and innovation.

My research background is plant and animal cell biology, with a focus on light and electron microscopy, endomembrane function, Golgi morphology, and synthesis of the plant cell wall.
