Rogers Family Charity Trust Award in Biology

A $6,500 award is offered to a third-year student majoring in biology or microbiology who has completed a minimum of 75 credits toward their degree in the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science and has submitted a proposal for a summer research project with the consent of a UBC Okanagan faculty supervisor in biology. Preference is given to proposals on topics related to life sciences research from a student interested in a career in health sciences. The award is made on the recommendation of the School.

How to apply

If you are interested in applying and you meet both the criteria set out in the award description above and Senate Regulations Governing University Awards, please complete the application package below. The application package includes two parts: Form A (Student Application) and Form B (Supervisor Recommendation).

Application packages (Forms A & B) must be submitted to the Department of Biology by the supervisor.

Application deadline: February 15, 2023.
